Its called increasing your power to weight ratio.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

I suspect when my oil filler cap went walkabouts it was because I'd left it sitting on top of the engine at some point and forgotten to replace it before closing the bonnet and later starting the car :lol:

Oh yes, and taking my old S13 to PitStop Onehunga for a service. They cocked up the oil filter and put on one of the S14/S15 filters, which ended up with oil pissing out of my engine down the motorway and my engine almost dying.

Happens with fuel caps too (well not sitting on ya engine, but on roof/boot lid/fuel pump)

A while back I let a lady pull out in front of me coming out of a petrol station, she smiled and gave me a friendly wave, and I smiled back as I watched the petrol cap slide across her roof and fall onto the road. :roll:

worst thing ive done is tick up a 16g evo that was crappy compared to the gt starlet i traded in.

oh well ya learn from those expensive mistakes pretty quickly.

damaged the nice chrome one on the ke30 yesterday... took it off wen working on it to stop the fuel being pushed through the line.. then got it back together and new i was forgetting some thing, plugged the starter wire back in and went for a test drive.. found it on the way back, scratched the chrome and broke the hinge for the lock cover... :(
