every thing is stock
the only things i hvae done is what i have listed
ill be more details
new turbo
custom manifold
cold air intake filter
3 inch from turbo all the way
fuel star
front mount
front brake 12 slots
ebc green front
20 row oil cooler
so no computer, no fuel mods nothing
the air fuel ratio is in a safe level if you look at my second one, the 206 atw, the AF ratio is in a safe level but they told me to stop my boost there was anymore might put my AFR into a bad zone. i guess thats fair enough.
whats on your gt4 206 atws? how did it go bang? detonation? just couldnt take it? or the turbo?
what psi?
its in a very safe level

thats still good power , tho the response is a little bit off , lith is right the only real way to decrease lag is significantly is to have a smaller turbine wheel.
the second boost curve looks typical profec , you can see where its trying to compensate but overall its within 0.5psi of the target setting.
i would focussing on making the setup as efficient as possible , ie make sure all your i/c piping is as smooth as possible and you dont have any boost leaks at all. make sure your core size is appropriate for your target etc.
id be looking to up the fuel system with a wahlbro pump and some slightly larger injectors ,then leave it in the hands of a capable tuner to slowly tweak the boost up as high as they feel safe.
even tho the gt4 has a decent fuel system to start with , it can never hurt and youll need a good fuel system in the future anyway when you chase more power.
i had the option of my turbo when i got it, same poewr rating but one was smaller and one was bigger
being a typical bloke, i opted for a bigger one
it seems...nastier:D
but i guess i knew it was for more top end power once the car is wringing itself to death.
im getting my intercooler piping revised, FREE!:D because they did it the wrong way and after research, there is a better way. so going to dyno after, might see a change in that after the FMIC was put on and fuel star.
I dont want to put on too much more power by plaing with the fuel cos the engine im sure cant handle much more
is this correct? i dont want to push the engine and blow it up, though that would make a good excuse to go all out:D

Probably not an option for the 3SGTE's, but raising compression does wonders for bringing on boost.
I raised my compression up on my 4AGTE from 8:1 to 9:1 and am amazed at the difference.
Full boost now comes on a full 1500 rpm earlier.
Down side is you have to be careful with advance,
and I think from memory the GT4's run on the det threshold anyway,
so probably not an option for you, and definatly not with an aftermarket ECU.

As long as the fuelling and ignition is up to spec, there is no reason the stock internals wont make 400hp. You will need to go for an aftermarket ECU though.

400hp atw ? or at flywheel?
when i was doing my searching on the net, i did come up with some people that said the factory internal for 3sgte can safetly handle 400hp, but i m not sure about that.
give it a try and let me knwo if u hear a bang

Provided the tune is good, and fuelling etc is good, then there is no reason why not.
