but the poll is not discussing the AE82 , it is discussing the supra, and the GTR.

GTRgod : would you put a toypseed ticker on your GTR?????????

Yes , how observant of you. It is discussing supra vs gtr , but saying a gtr looks like a filleted brick is a statement that is looking to provoke a reaction, rather than provide intelligence and constructive criticism. 8)
and no .. my Nizan sticker will do just fine for now... not really into plastering stickers all over car..

ok im sitting here reading the article about the top secret supra and it says -
nagata-san could have easily coaxed the power to run those speeds out of the supras factory-fitted 2jz-gte engine- but hey, wheres the challenge in that ? being different is what its all about in the land of 130 million odd people!

it didnt say anything about the top secret guys thinking the rb26 was any better, they just wanted something different.

I wouldnt own either of them. i think skylines are just gay looking, sure they're fast and powerful etc etc, but i think they look bland, and you cant walk down the street without seeing one, hell the guy next door has one. as for the supra, fast and powerful and nice looking, but still too common, probably more potential on stock internals than a gtr but they just dont rub my buddha.

ill tell you what next time a standard supra or a gtr beats any standardroad bike over say a 400 then i might make a choice, until that unfortunate nonexistant day im going to say they are both slow.(because they are cars)

I have seen supras and GTR's on stands close to each other, and would have to say i have never, ever, seen an asian run up to a supra sayin "supra, supra, supra, is this a supra, who owns this supra, ooooooooooooooooh it so niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccccce, i want a supra like this"... blah blah blah. GTR on the other hand... THEY ARE JUST SO FREAKIN SEEEXXXY
For he so loved the world, he gave us GTR!!!
I DONT CHEAT!! I just use creativity while interpreting the rule book.
they say true love is just round the corner i must be walking in circles. If love isnt a game then why are there so many players? If you want me to fall for you- you have to give me something worth tripping over.

I sorta reckon a GTR is a real enthusiats car , like you sorta have to be in the know at least a little to fully appreciate the out right awesomeness of the GTR in all aspects. Probably more so in the R32 (due to the older/more classic style) , ie :If some dude/chik didnt kno stuff all about cars and saw a done up 600HP R32 GTR they prob wodnt look twice at it, let alone fully appreciate what it is.

However the Supra on the other hand , even to people who dont know crap all about cars , can jst look at it and know that it is a very fast sports car. Even more so if its nicely worked on. Id say , in terms of visual impressions esp on people who arent performance car enthusiasts Id go for the Supra.
Ie: Kinda like a kid looking at a Ferrari , he/she doesnt fully kno what they are looking at , but knows its a fast badass behatch.

Id prob choose a Supra RZ with a TRD widebody kit over a R32 GTR but Id take either one without too much complaint. 8)

However if I got given a Supra or a GTR , Id probably sell it and buy a ST205 GT4 , jst to save on fuel/insurance and invest the difference.

You poor soul. You have had a sheltered upbringing if you havent heard the spine tingling scream of an Italian V8 at over 8000rpm, or even a Ford GT40 being wrung out....mmmm quad downdraught webers

yeah I must say , the GT40 on High Octane 2 compared to the GRACER R33 GTR sounded hardcore to say the least....personal preferences tho I guess.

one thing, are you comparing all supras to the gtr? if so, kinda unfair a bit, as your also comparing it to the mk2's, all the variants of the mk3 and also the mk4. if this is the case, i'll have to choose a 1jz powered mk3. don't like the mk4, ass is huge!! as for the skylines, my hat off to them, they are a wonderful machine, don't like the 34 or the 32 though, 34's too boxy, and the 32 is too small. i'll take the 33 out of them all. sure it's the heaviest, but being 4wd, i'd only want it for looks with the power, not power out right.

in the end, both fine cars, but i'll take the mk3 supra, grown up with them, i'll die with them....
