Anyone else have their eye on the FT86?
Moderator: The Mod Squad
There was a white "86" one with a TRD kit and other shiny bits being driven very poorly on Hampton Downs skid pan yesterday, it looked tuff as $$% lowered on some nice wide wheels.
After my test drive on Friday I had a look at a second dealership in Auckland on the weekend, funny that they only had Automatic models.
Very very tempted to get the GT model in white.

That'll be North Shore Toyota's Cusco one
Apparently of the 100 available this year in NZ, only 30 are GT86s and of them only 6 are manual. I can't verify this info though.
That's the one, it is a 86, looks great.. although I would think that setup may blunten the performance some what.
I did mention your car (congrats again) as I thought it may have been yours, they guy tells me this is a demo car of sorts and they are throwing a few parts at it to demonstrate what can be done.

Seems there's an aftermarket exhaust now available for the GT86/BRZ:

Come in, if you tin it right they'll prob let you take it for a drive. Rhys was in on Saturday and the salesman ended up letting him take it for a drive.

That is from NZPT, they are good to deal with, I have a Miltek on my race car and its fantastic quality, they know their shit when it comes to tuning good sounding exhausts and getting performance gains.
