see this is what its about you have it in ur head that all cheap beer is nasty tasting. im sure if u were really poor and was out drinking u would pick the cheaper stuff and after a while u would get use to the taste.

Well the fact is I'm not poor, so I dont have to put up with crap beer. Every now and then I'll drink Lion Red, and there's sometimes Speight in the fridge, but all those cheap beers just taste like cheap beers. I can drink them, but it's not the same pleasure as Steinlager or Heineken or Corona.

Man, this conversation has made me thirsty, time to finish work early and have a Steiny :D

There is a large difference, between getting used to a taste, and the taste actually being good.

OMGZ0rZ! Someone's been in my fridge, and it's almost empty 8O

But thankfully there's still some left. Aaah, the strong taste of real beer (is that Steinlager's slogan? )

Oh, and while I was there, a photo of what's next to the fridge:

Indeed. I'll be off to the supermarket as soon as I finish my beer.

Ooooh yeah, that hits the spot.

Man, can my life get any better right now? Hot day, cold beer, and door to door chocolate delivery! Just as I'm finishing the last sip of steinlager, kids doing fundraising knock on the door, and offer me an extra large chocolate bar for $2!!

Oooooh yeah

edit: And if you're wondering (which you're probably not), YES, that is a Te Wananananananga O Aotearoa advertisement in the right hand side of that last picture. That's right, they're STILL chucking their junk in my mail box. That makes me soooo angry  But that's another topic all together. Now I'm off to the supermarket *crosses fingers the steinlager is still $20 per 15 pack*

And I work for TWOA, if us providing free courses to you means that you end up with our junk mail, then so be it. I may not agree with all of the cash handling but I am behind the reason for the courses. :o That being said, I agree with the fact that you having stuff dumped in your letterbox is annoying, I work in the call centre so I send out all the applications for the courses, marketing does all the mail drops.

Luthos - I could get started, but I wont, unless there's a seperate topic for it. I'll leave it alone here.

Anyways, just got back from the supermarket.

Thaaats better. The lighting is poor coz all the beer is blocking the fridge light.

Haha yea, I wouldn't have trusted him to drive to the green grocer after that beer the way he was recklessly posting pictures.

Revvy> Beer is so great, because it goes with meat, you can't drink Vodka while having a BBQ... :D
