Hi all.

I have now clocked up the eighth PM asking why non Toyotas are at this track day.

It's simple really. It's not solely organised as a Toyspeed track day (and I don't think that I've said anywhere that it is). It's a day that I've organised to benefit anyone who is keen. I invited NzHonda's, Mivec.co.nz, MMC and put the call to anyone who would like some track experience. If you've missed out on this one there is another in August at Manfield, so don't get upset, just get organised and get in before the masses do.

This day so far has cost me nearly $2k and if I was to make it a just a TS day I would have to charge each driver around $160 to come and play

too much if you ask me. I organise these days 3 - 4 times a year between Taupo and Manfield for everyone to enjoy not just Toyspeed. I like to mix things up and avoid being elitist and discriminating against other brands.

I hope that explains why to those of you who have been rude and accusing. So please, no more PM's saying what a turncoat I am because I own a Mitsi. I actually drive a Toyota everyday still. However that shouldn't have any bearing on a track day that is run for everyone Toyota or not to come and get some driver experience and put them selves against the clock. This is fun day, not an attempt to get into politics.

You get to play with the STI'S, Evo's and Lotus's as I would imagine you'd monstor the Honda's I had you with.

Yes you can run slicks for sure (I plan to) ... sorry I assume you were doing a bit of drifting, ignore me - ok

yes the drifters were a band from the late 50's early 60's
