Toyspeed @ Festival of Speed?

Surely was an S2000 engine, very tidy looking engine bay. Was the fastest lap of the day wasn't it?

spoke to a few guys, it is indeed an S2000 K20 under the hood.
revs to 9600, which is a tad higher than standard from memory, so somethings been changed, although if you can afford one of those engines for a car like that, I guess after market computer isn't out of the budget.

gave the EK a very hard time, Id say it was the fastest of the day, it was friggin hauling.

S2000 has an F20C.
250 ps (183.88 kw) / 8300 rpm
22.2 kg*m (217.71 N*m) / 7500 rpm

Damn that thing moved. My mrs asked if we could do the same to her KP61.

going back a bit to the discussion about a toyspeed display at the festival of speed after going to the event and having a wander around I am committed to trying to organise us for next year.

I did think about it this year but being the new kid on the block (well new old bastard anyway) pluse the short time frame once I thought about it (plus I was on call) meant it was to late to organise for this year.

Next year however I plan to try and organise us for a display, if we start early enough we may get some of the christchurch/timaru/invervegas? guys to come and join us.

Anyway that is my intention so watch this space in about 9-10 months when I will start getting people to commit to this (possibly with threats and a big stick)
