I tried the one that went behind the strut tower on the left hand side, and it went behind the wheel cover and kinda came out where the door hinges were. Wasn't quite satisfied with that, hopefully there's a better way.

Power cable for amp in ae111 levin
I was hoping to put back in my subwoofer and amp into my levin this afternoon, when i had trouble trying to get the power cable from the engine bay into the cabin. I'm sure someone with an ae111 has threaded through a power cable, just wondering which hole did you choose

Best way on a AE111 is to go through the inner guard. There will be a hole by the firewall going into the guard area. Pop the inner lining down and you will see a large bung going into the cabin.
You're just jealous the voices are talking to me!

IS this the only easiest way? Anyone else have any other options or photos on how they did it? I have to do the same job this weekend!!!

After having my BZ-R for about 6 months i finally got around to installing the amp under the passenger seat. I used the grommet that the A/C piping feeds into the cabin - it is a bit tight for 4 gauge wire, but since i was only fitting a small 4-ch and using about 3m of cable 8 gauge was sufficient.
It was a bit tricky to feed the wire directly through, i used a small bit of stiff wire and fed the 8 gauge that way. In my opinion a lot easier than taking the wheel off or removing the inner wheel plastic guard
I was tempted to use the main cable grommet in the middle lower centre as i saw how that cable fed into the cabin behind the centre console - but it was a tight space to get into, with smaller hands one could get away with it.
The install of the amp/sub and wiring only took about 2-3 hours as I routed the cabling neatly under the carpet. The front components were custom fitted a while back running off the headunit so made things a bit quicker - behind the center console almost where the main loom enters the cabin is an ideal place to put the crossover units too for the front components, even the oversized PBX ones fit nicely (sort of in front of the gearshifter but behind the Airbag controlunit)

Ha by the time i got the wheel off it only took me an hour tops to run the wire and install the amp... there is probably only about 4 inchs exposed going that way but it was a much easier option once i knew where to go. My hands are to big and the ae111 engine bay is quite tight!!!
