The 777 didn't use anything close to full thrust on the run I watched. Bah!

Oh wait, the car cant even go 500kph? lame.
then we could add some corners and see who can get around the track quickest

Just seen the numbers and the 777 was using minimum thrust to keep it on the ground. Full thrust and it would have been at 1000 ft by the time the car crossed the line...

Wasn't that one where the eurofighter had to climb to 1 mile and back to ~ground level to pass over the line, and the Veyron had to go 1 mile on land and back?
fairly close from memory, should be showing when the new season starts soon ish.

Eurofighter won that by a tiny margin too...wayyy more impressive than an A1GP car racing a manatee

It would sit there, looking like a 777 sitting on a treadmill that had obviously been produced specifically for it, without any actual purpose.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.
