How many of Toyspeeders have "switched" to Subaru? It seems lately a few members became subaru owners....

I think more have gone Mazda tbh
Have owned a few Subarus in the past, no plans to own another any time soon (One unreliable car is enough)

Voted for not liking Subaru as there was no "no" option. The ones that do change to Subaru probably stop posting on here eventually as the costs of ownership mean they can no longer afford internet to post.

Yeah I think you're confused, this is Mazdaspeed and we don't like your type around here.

Had a couple of them. No particular desire to own another one, because I can't afford to race (which means "break") one, and there's no other reason for me to own one.

Oh shit, I missed that one..

You are confusing them with 3SGTE owners.

Voted thinking of getting one purely based on the amount of time I've devoted to looking at 2012/2013 STi sedans. Realistically though next car I get will be a project and probably a nissan s chassis.

Have you driven a hatch, if so how does a sedan compares to a hatch?

Have had a couple, a turbo Leone which was lols and a non turbo B4 with 350k on it. The B4 was actually a really nice car to drive and handled better than most stuff I've had.
Newer stuff and turbo ones I don't know how keen I'd be on. More likely go the Mazda brigade, but then something would always be in the back of my mind saying I'd bought a Mondeo/Focus with different clothes on. RX8 was fun though, but would only go back to something like that if it was ridiculously cheap and I wasn't doing such short trips.

I got a '89 RS Legacy a few weeks back. NZ New two owners 100% stock. Getting panel and paint sorted next week.
Plan is to just drive it and become bankrupt by 2014.

Yup. If it wasn't for the gigantic wing in the mirror you wouldn't be able to tell if you were driving one or the other. Anyone that says they are different to drive is telling fibs.

Owned (and drove as a daily) a version 3 STi WRX for a couple of years. Had to spend a bit of money in maintenance when I first bought it. Other than that, a replacement alternator was the only thing I spent money on besides servicing and tyres in the 2.5 years I owned it.
Would buy / own one again in a heartbeat, it was $$% amazing to drive, bloody quick, and reliable. Didn't need excessive mods to put out more than enough power to satisfy my requirements. As with most cars, their reliability and longevity depends more on its previous owners and their treatment of the vehicle, than on the manufacturers badge. I was lucky enough to know the previous owner, and knew he looked after the car very well.
Would still own the car now if I hadn't moved over to Brisbane. It would have been worth literally double here what it was in NZ (if not more).
