Im looking at making my air lines the same - currently have three types and i'm sick of using adapters!
What's the more common fitting? I was thinking of going ARO but Nitto 'seems' more common.
Also, who is the better (cheaper) supplier for these fittings?
Cheers!
Nitto Vs Aro

I went ARO for most of my gear. But I also have an adaptor to go aro -> nitto, as a used to borrow a brad gun that was nitto. Not 100% sure on cheapest source for the fittings though. My compressor and lines were ARO, so I just went that way for that reason.
Probably not much help really. But depending on which fittings you go for, and whether you want male of female fittings, trademe can have some good deals.

I never looked into which was better to be honest, flow wise. Compressor determined the way I went. I figured they wouldn't use crappy fittings on a $$$ compressor.
Lots of trade type stores sell them, this place looks pretty reasonable. http://www.wilsonbros.co.nz/index.php?p ... =pl&cid=30 I think I paid about $4 a piece when I got some years ago. They all seem to be around the same price.

Aro are pretty common in most workshops, but they are restrictive and always seem to have an air leak (keep in mind Im talking about ones used everyday)
I dont know the other brand, but I am looking at changing all mine to a higher flow type that I havent had leak yet either.
I HATE air leaks.
Just looked up Nitto, they look like what I will be changing to, much higher flow and seem to seal better.

Re: Nitto Vs Aro
i personally prefer ARO (the smaller ones), I dont know why, but I just prefer them
I've found best place to buy fittings is the likes of Tool Shed, or Engineering type places, M10 Mega even has them for like $4
Supercheap etc seem to be twice the price, and only be Nitto
