Hi all
I am finishing up my engine swap and the low ks 2jzge that I am swapping in doesn't have a hole for the oil pressure switch on my 2jzge soarer's loom.
I have a work around coming, but it is delivery from the US. Until then, I was hoping to get the car up and running with that sensor unplugged.
Can anyone tell me if the oil pressure switch on the 2jz is just controlling the dash light or will it mess with the engine electrics (limp mode, timing etc ?).
The car is a 1997 non Vvti 2jzge Toyota soarer. The new engine was from a 1997 2jzge supra.
Cheers
Edward

Usually just runs to the dash light and not the ecu.
