Dick Smith.

We have a box of the capacitors here as the Mitsi's suffer from the same problems, and the ECU's are just as hard to get.
At one stage a while ago I was doing on average one repair a week,
with about 95% sucess rate.

The main problem is that it uses the lead of the capacitor to pass power from one side of the board to the other, and when it corodes it looses power to almost 1/2 the ECU.

I tend to get my parts from either: Jaycar (convenience, plus the shop feel like real electronic enthusiast place, not like Dicksmith that tries to be a new Bond&Bond), RS (choice, although their site is real pain in the ass to use) Tradetech (some oddball stuff, mostly TV related), Dick Smith (generally their selection is pretty useless).
