Dependant on work and how shattered I am at the end of the week I may be able to make it. Saturdays are definitely out for me atm as we are in full kill mode 6 days a week

I was under the impression you were organising it...

From what I have learned while organising Toyspeed events, tell people, don't ask, otherwise it wont happen!

Also, sorry I wont be able to make it to this one, catch you guys next time round

This ^

Its just a simple case of naming a date, and a location, thats confirmed weeks out from the event.

And as you said Scott, most of us were already busy this weekend anyway, so we will reschedule it for a few weeks time when it works better for everyone.

Have a good weekend anyway guys :)

My thoughts exactly. Given there wasn't really a confirmed date people went about planning their own stuff. Plan a date in 3 weeks time or something and make sure there is somewhere planned to go or something to do and launch it from there

Thoughts?

Ok Scott, this is how you do it....

A ball smashing meat brought to you by Girvs

Date: Sun 05 May

Meeting Location: Caltex Rimutaka's

Meeting time: 1000.

Plan is to drive across up the Rimutaka's and reasonable weather permitting have a photo shoot on the first major viewing area up the hill. Then proceed either to have brunch at Featherston or Masterton - this Location TBC, I'll need to do a recce on this - Post brunch its off to the driving range to smash some balls as hard and fast as you can.

Destination: Ball smashing location, Masterton

Once this is complete, Palmy guys can either head back North, or come back to Luke's place for drinks - just joking Luke. Unless you want that as an option, as I heard Reith would provide the Jäger dispenser ;)

Will let you know closer to the time, am still anxious to go on any TS cruises after the last one resulted in me rolling down a bank and baring the full impact of the crash. Also don't know about weekend work until mid week each week and to top it all off that's around the time of my old mans 65th so may be in the Bay of Islands.
