Toyspeed Banner - interest

Post by XSVWGN »

I have been getting quite a few poeple hitting me up to get another round made up. Last time i didnt ask for the permission of toyspeed and just got them out on a whim and they took me three months to get rid of only 30 ...

If there is enough interest in them then we can get another lot made up but there will be rules and guidelines to them. Maybe express your thoughts (Matt - deaf_rattle im sure you have a few ;))

Possibilities are that ...

* Toyspeed members will need to vouch for others in order to insure no misconduct
* The banners may only go to those that regularly attend meets
* Minimum time on the forums before banners can be issued

etc etc

Let us know what you all think

Matt

just to get the ball rolling i'd be keen for a toyspeed banner if there is another run of them done and i'd be more than happy to adhere to the above guidelines.
i think it is fair whilst keeping the club out of situations where it is accountable for idiots.

I'd be really keen for one, but like some others I'm not a meet-attender, though I've been a long-time lurker at least

Would definitely be up for meets if they're on, though...

doesint warry me as i fit all criteria and already have one, could be keen on a second tho.

but attendance for meets could be difficult, iv been to a few, but there hasn't been one since i got the corolla on the road, not even the promis of a cruse down here was enough for most of the h town crew..

Maybe Auckland and Hamilton need to have a joint meet and decent cruise?I can think of at least one route that's kind of in between and would be great on the right day.

Would be interested, the trick is in the details though, eh.

I think it'd be a good idea to have to 'qualify' for the banner. Even though I wouldn't, heh.

talking to a few people there may be other things we can look into. Such as toyspeed memberships as such. You pay a fee to cover the banners etc and the money also goes to funding dyno days, trackdays etc etc.

Aparently NZhondas to it and they do it well so its something we can definatly look into.
