arh, ic..
well the manuals I've driven were quite good in terms of changing gears, didn't need to force it into gear or anything. not sure about the clutches but i heard the same story as you did so it should be able to take more crap than other models :lol:

if you want to feel the differences urself, try turners auction. there were 5 gt-ts (manual and auto) on one of the auctions that i went to

auto takes off slower (if u dun care about the clutch in a manual that is) but I would imagine that's the only major difference between the two

I went to the 7th form ball in bmw z3, $180 a day and the other person who shared the costs can't drive so it wasn't too bad for $90 for a spotlight entry at the ball + cruising in the beamer the next day! :D

so what are the mods you guys had done to the gtts or what mods i should start with?

I had asked mr. revhead regarding how many litres of oil I would need for engine / brake system / transmission / diff and plan to change all of them for a start, but I guess that's not really a "mod" as ...

yep auto.
mum needs to drive a car and she doesn't want to buy another car so the deal was she practices her driving on this car and then she goes off and get another one when she feels more confident (alas for my bumpers and paints)
