Ill be putting the bottom end and all the rest together myself carefully as i want the experience. Thanks guys

I'm doing the same thing.. although my main motivation is shiney tools... just need a couple of torque wrenches and a valve spring compressor and a bigger hammer and some pure chrome ...

Those mods alone will give you a quick track car...

As for turbo's and ecu... I can imagine that getting expensive quickly
m for a bolt on kit but I wouldn't think you would be doing the same for too ...

18 -> 20 mm gudgeon?

Can a piston with an 18mm gudgeon be taken out 2 mm and still maintain it's structural integrity?


Got some ACL pistons for bluetop today and don't quite know what I'm going to do with them :lol:

If you can afford it, do it for sure, just that little bit of extra insurance and there isn't going to be a better time than now while everythings out.

If the parts you are using are sourced from different engines (1 rod from one engine 3 from another etc) do it.
