Blacktop extractors are a good set aren't they? Unless you already have those on your silvertop.

Re: Runx Z value..
What are you thinking?
Pretty hard to say as there are so many dreamers on Trademe looking at the pricing some are at. The only thing they have going for them is the gearbag I guess. If I was spending 5k on a car i'd go for a blade. So to me, i'd value them below that mark. Just an appliance sort ...

Re: toyota progres manual conversion
Purely take a stab here. But I imagine it will cost quite a bit to do and require a fair bit of messing around and fabrication. On top of that it will need to be certified. If you want a manual car of that size, i'd try find something that fits your requirements from factory.

Re: Toyo Tyres
Yeah the F1's aren't cheap, and I wouldn't put them on a daily unless I planned to push it hard. Run some Hankooks on the mrs' daily blade, I haven't come unstuck yet. But I also don't push it hard on corners in the rain, like I do with tyres like F1's. My 15's are ~$180 fitted, spendy, but the car ...

Re: Toyo Tyres
What about something like this: m can get 205/45/16 which isn't far off what you have now.
I gave up trying to get T1R's, in the size I wanted it was many months till next order. Changed wheels in the end as T1R was the only tyre "available" in the size I wanted. I'm going for 195/50/15's in the ...

Re: Blade push button start operation
No key lights on dash, only on the button. If someone has messed with the wiring, with alarm etc, then I think you are on the right track with that theory.

Re: Blade push button start operation
That does sound odd, ours fires right up as you describe. Only way i've seen to get to ACC is without foot on the brake. But in that situation, the car will not start no matter how many times the button is pressed. Yet in your case it will start after cycling. So it does sound like a weird situation ...

Re: AE92 Race Spring rates
No experience with that platform, but ae86 coilover kits (likely aimed at drift...) are 8kg front 6kg rear. I'm going to be 6kg front 3.5kg rear in my AE70, but that isn't a track car.
Do you have adjustable dampening?
I'd do a bit of googling too as there are many forums where spring rate is ...

What are you planning to do? Drain and refill?
CVT is voodoo, I wouldn't touch anything that isn't Toyota, or supplied by a trans specialist that knows what is required. Had mine serviced a few years ago, fluid and a few seals I think. Old guy running the place knew exactly what was available for ...

You take them to someone that can test them. Matt Dunn on here used to do it I think, likely still does.

date stamp 2004 is a bit older than i thought, the ones where i had the blue car would have been 2002 then maybe?

I have Arthurs pass down as 2004, don't have any of the grasskhana but do recall it. Miss my 20v sometimes, hopefully put one in a current ride one day.
A few pics, have videos too, and I have to say it's amazing how far technology has come since then. Such bad quality lol.
