1) How much power are standard rods good for ? engine from AE101

I've got JE pistons, but not sure if I should bother getting rods or not.. HKS set is about $1500. If I don't ...

I use abs+slotted+high temp pads.. it does chew the pad down twice as fast, but it has alot of stopping power.. I have to polish brake dust off my mags every week but i'd still never go back

I had the same problem in ae101.. I swapped inner left with inner right.. let it wear on the other side

solved my problem for about 3 months.. now they're getting noisy again, might have to go recon

I'm a little new to turbos, so I have a few questions

Can anyone expand on results from different turbo applications ?

Using: AE101 4AGZE, VR4/similar Intercooler, Link, appropriate injectors

In a recent post I saw Jade list a few different turbos, that all work well.

i lightened and balenced mine, FWD.. took about 2kg off it

unfortunatly it made it more temperate at low revs ($&#$% stock ECU's)

fortunatly it helped me rev from 1000 --> 4000 a lot quicker.. which for 4AGE is critical.. because there's no power untill after 4 anyway

I just got a quote for supply of Nolathane bushes, engine mounts, and install costs:

sway bar bushes front
sway bar bushes rear
lower arm bushes
castor bushes
mounting bushes

Including labour, $1200~ approx.. the guy said he'd have to check it out to quote properly.. could be + or - $200 ...
