Hate to be the devil's advocate but I would *STRONGLY* advise you to find out WHY the stock setup isn't reaching the preset boost level before you go adding a tap.
The 3SGTE boost control system is pretty robust and if boost is lowered it's usually because thats the failsafe reaction to another ...

Re: So, what's Aussie like for cars then?
Shop around for insurance. My MPS is less than $1k p/a to insure (comprehensive) which is on par/cheaper than some of the cars I owned in NZ

Do a leakdown test. I would be doing one at this point after a rebuild anyway.

There's a bit of CRZ in there too.
I kinda like it. Only a concept though so probably never see production.

There was a Toyota out too. Ran single digits backing off early.

Also hooning and making the most of summer. Mostly on the bike since the car is still untuned for the new setup. Feels strong though. 2 years in my hands has just passed and I've done almost 50,000km.

Re: What did you do to your car today?
Went to fire it up and do some pulls on the new engine to do some fine tuning but she's dead as a doorknob so had to go down to kmart and pickup a charger.
Gotta take it in for a roadworthy inspection and emissions test. Not feeling confident about a pass but I'll see what it does I guess.

Re: What did you do to your car today?
Bought another bike. First ever brand new vehicle for me (it's the small things...)
Been shopping for a daily bike for the past few months. To replace my little Yamaha. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v665/ionic/2015-01-17%2010.10.54_zps6khg9yjx.jpg

Re: Toyota Blade Reverse Cam Issues
If they can't fix it tell them to sublet it to someone who can or to give you a new car with a working camera. Their incompetence is not your problem.

MPS requires 95. 9.5:1CR + Boost.
No fancy double injectors per cylinder. Just GDI and 2000+ psi fuel pressure from the pump.

Re: What did you do to your car today?
Picked up my MPS. I haven't driven this since Jan because I wanted it to get a good freshen up over the winter. It's now back sporting a fresh forged engine, new turbo, mounts, new timing chain and vvt etc. Took it for a quick squirt around the block because I couldn't resist it after using only ...

Re: What did you do to your car today?
It'll eventually need another turbo. Common for them to fail. Loads of stock replacements available. BNRsupercars makes the most cost effective solution. Better than stock in terms of reliability.

Re: What did you do to your car today?
It'll be based on a CX7 engine. Smaller turbo than MPS and different management. MPS makes 380nm and is torque limited in the first 3 gears/with any steering angle. Sweet car though.
