Fitted rotors to Honda, took it for test drive/bedding in to Piha, unplanned full ABS panic braking test initiated due to some dickhead in an oncoming peoplemover trying some stupidly ambitious overtaking move. Test passed.
Reality: A nasty hallucination that is caused by excess blood in the alcohol stream.

Saw your car around but I stay the $$% out of town at this time year, so many retarded drivers. I can barely get out of my driveway, live on the road to Auckland 15km out.

Yes Bro he is a very close friend of our family and was out at my brothers camp site out Turihaua Point having a beer or 3 and we did have a chat.
He was giving me the run down on Gisborne car culture.
I was quiet surprised at some of the knowledge that is floating around up here.He mentioned a couple of guys that he helped put together a Quad Turboed Jag race car that goes really well, the stock car scene also his adventures doing that.
Apparently he is also a very reputable guy when it comes to putting together a car in all facets.
I've found the traffic sweet whatever I have been driving wheather its my Supra the Bro's XR6T the Prado whatever really.I prefer the Prado because its like driving in a lounger the only real complaint I have is the roughness of the roads but I guess that comes down to all the logging trucks and all.
But all good times must come to an end I'm off back to WGTN tomorrow night maybe during the day temperature dependent, there's no way I'm leaving here in a black car with no aircon when's its 28 + LOL.

Six speed into AE92
John is going to have a go at grinding the shifter, so we can get reverse.

Booked car in for cert with Clint Field. Can't be done until 10th Feb. Might have something to do with the ever shrinking list of certifiers! Noticed Neil Fraser is no longer doing them.

Might end up regretting this... too late now!

So much room for activities!
Also added a 7AFE two piece sump, and a shot of the baffle plate added

Oil cooler to be re-mounted this weekend for better flow too

Wonder if all that will go into my AE92 ... I can't tell you how much I regret losing the air con in my race car after the incident with the bank.

Sadly only pics I had were via Snapchat, didn't think to take actual photos. Car is no longer in my possession either
Probably just as well anyway, only the welds on the skin looked any good

How come yours doesnt work, Coryn? That would be hard work driving home after a track day in the height of summer.

Re: What did you do to your car today?
Started assembling some front suspension for the KP. Bolted some bits together, waiting on bolts for the front brakes rotors so the caliper brackets still need locktite and a proper torque up. When the brake hose brackets were welded on there was a little melt through, a couple of minutes with a Dremel gave me back the 50mm ride height couldn't drop anymore.

Chris did a sweet job with the textured black powdercoating, also did the engine crossmember, swaybar, castor arm and mounts etc.

Sunday: Picked up mr2 bits from NP and Vegas.. 1120kms and 110L of gas in about 15hours driving
Today: Had it confirmed the $300 struts I got were genuine bilstein inverted conversions done by autolign. Yay - decent kit for cheap. Washed 1120kms of dead birds, bugs and road grime off the Honda.
