thats what we did on the AW(twice in 3 days :x ) cept it was on seans maori as wooden ramps :lol:
Taking the engine out is fine, then maybe mr jamex, you can just get the engine shop to take it from there. Would save you alot of money for a saturdays work.

mine was leaking, so i replace the bearing and seal, then it was fine, then it started leaking. Then I put gasket goop all over the o ring and it fixed it.. then it started leaking again.

no_8wire - mang just trust in TRD, the shocks are mint and you get rev heads clubAW deal :wink: or for a cheaper option, ask markku exactly what he got (think he might have put it on maxpower in the aw project thread) sounds like he was pretty pleased with them too.

I have 4age, using 4ga cable and 100A breaker. Goes mint.
Ran it through a 60A fuse for a few weeks before i could afford the breaker and that also went fine. Some peoples theories seem to be a crock of shit when it comes to this, just do it like this and itll go fine :)

my 4ag has a 100A breaker on the batt, never tripped it ever (then again ive never cranked it for 40sec continuously 8O ....but like 10sec maybe once)
what ee904age makes alot of sense, just by-pass it for now. mean. :)

i have seen 4 engines absolutly destroeyed buy the poor filtration offered by these filters, and on a lot of cars i have just done simple services on with these filters fitted have alot of dust in the intake tract, throttle bodies etc.

there manly for race applications ...

a foam type filter (well the ones I have seen do) which will absorb any water that gets into it
i've seen foam filters that are oiled and some that are not, but i've never seen a NEW foamy that isnt oiled.....anyway, point is: foam filters ...

where'd you hear that? besides their tendency to fall to pieces and get sucked through the intake (only when theyre really old and neglected) I havn't had any problems with them.

Liloss - just get a k&n and keep it oiled ...
