yup as revhead said, they are different. needs to be ae101 loom, an ae101 gtz would be good or a 4agze conversion running the ae101 loom

A stab in the dark here would suggest a possible throttle position sensor or other fault. Reason i'm suggesting t.p.s is when your foot is flat it's good but anything less than that it runs crap. I've probably still got a spare t.p.s in the garage if it'd help to elimintate that, i've found before ...

hoping someone can help me out here, my ae101 gtz 4agze is doing something it shouldn't. when warm -at any throttle position other than full- it wont rev above about 3-3.5k rpm. just dies, either stops getting spark or fuel, perhaps both, no response from accelerator- then after around 5 seconds its ...

ive gota ae86 disc brake rear end in chch forsale, depends if you want to upgrade for disc brake aswell as lsd, a cheap option would be t series drum out of a corona or something similar for under a hundred bucks, and a trd lsd or standard 86 lsd. i can supply trd lsd, pm for more detail.

both are 65/14's so it would seem to me the outside diameter would remain the same, therefore no difference in speedo rating (someone please correct me if im wrong) as for fuel efiecnty, it wouldnt be noticable, if any at all.

Any ole' oil thats graded for LSD's, I run 85W - 140W Penrite LSD oil in mine, it is insanely thick, I only use it because of the abuse my diff gets, the flipside is that it takes about 3 weeks to put 2.5l of it into a G series Diff.

However thats totally unnecessary, anything suitbale for LSD's ...
