Had this issue on my vr4 I had years ago, I drilled a small hole all the way through the nut and stud once the nut was tight and put a small split pin through it, never happened again.

Haha awesome Leon, I had a feeling this could be the case. Think I will just stop being tight a get a proper cage.

It has the main hoop, with two rear stays and a diaganol bar from hoop to bottom of one rear stay with optional harness bar. All bars bolt together.

Yes I'm aware I need to weld a plate to the floor to bolt it to. Just looking into options in regards to added safety and something to attach my harness to

I have had a bit of a look through the Motorsport manual but didn't find the answer, what I want to know is can I use a bolt in half cage for club sport events? And secondly if I can, can I mount harness's to it?

Ohh I see, any way to no if this is what I need? The bar has a threaded piece sticking out of each side where it should mount to the body, bit it is about 100mm from anywhere to mount it to.

Also how much is this kit?

I bought a 2nd hand nudge bar for my 2008 hilux, but think there maybe a bracket missing, could someone put a photo up of where their's mount to the body?

I need a cert for suspention and brakes anyway, so not a worry there.

Hmm might have to do some cutting, can anyone tell me if I have to have sliders to get a warrent?

Also is it legal to cut the front support rail?

I bought a racetech 4000w seat for my ae101 levin, I got the racetech alloy brackets and some aftermarket Kyouu brackets and sliders to bolt everything on the car, which I have done, only issue I have now is that the seat sits to high and my head in 10mm from the roof, I'm only 6ft so not issue wih ...

Help, I am looking at buying an adjustable wilwood proportionary valve as my rear brakes are locking up under heavy braking since I upgraded the front brakes. Just need to know what the thread at the engine bay end of the brake lines is?

There's an ae101 trueno at mangere, was put out while I was there about 11am today, very complete and original,black, 144kms, silvertop, auto, superstrut. Scored the factory momo steering wheel off it for $20 in mint condition.

What I mean is can I swap the whole unit? Need to know if the holes where the units bolt to the chassis are the same. If anyone has a pic of the 4 bolt set up it could be of help.
