According to internet lore (And somewhat confirmed by toyodiy) the SS-II st202s with got E56s with LSD.. but vicous LSD, not helical as I thought :(
The SS-III st202s got a helical, but in a S series box, so no use to me.

Not sure whether all the SS-II/SS-III or only some got the LSDs. Still trying to figure out if the E56 ratios can be swapped into an early sw20 E153 box, or even the later triple synchro e153. If its still there once i've cleared the garage of 3sgtes in pieces I may go steal it just to find out. Or maybe its easier to convert the shifter on the e56 to RWD format and bolt it on to the 3sgte... hmmm.

weird they must have had a bunch of leftover e56's - its such an overkill box for a stock n/a 3sge.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up. Looks like they never bothered updating their website on Friday afternoon

It's a Trueno BZ-G. I grabbed the steering wheel off it. The 20v head has now been taken. Whole car looks like it has been well looked after, only real damage I could see was from the rear end collision.

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

I think you'll find there is plenty of competition in that market already. Including some of their staff. Twice i've been out there when sw20s have been brought into the yard.. PS pumps already gone (easy $200-$300 from the stock car crowd)

Dammit, why didn't they send the one I want the gearbox from to Avondale.. would save me from crawling round in the mud at mangere to pull the gearbox.
