sorted now figure it was the voltage reg, replaced the alternator and was all sweet

This happened on the way to wokr the other day, but have just sold the car and it is getting picked up of sunday so it really needs to get fixed, just wondering if anyone in here might have any ideas as to what might be wrong.

ahh i see, didnt realise there was a visual different between the ITBs, revhead said the exhaust ports are different sizes, does anyone know what they should be if it is a black top

yea thats what i thought...
would there be any way to tell... arent the throttle bodies different also

im pretty sure their stud pattern is different 5 x 100 as opposed to 5 x 114....Could be wrong though

Rotor and caps havent been replaced...probably ever, but spark plugs are new iridium tipped ones about 9000km old, would it be worth replacing the cap and leads then?
As for the airflow meter is there anyway I can check it, with a multimeter or something to see if its stuffed

Hey guys trying to get a few small issues ironed out in my car, basically when idling with the engine up to temperature the idle will jump back a forth from about 850 to 600 rpm and it also sounds like there is a slight miss to it aswell, I unpolugged the idle control and it shot up to about 1100rpm ...

oh, wasnt very clear lol I meant the wires to the key.... 12v, ACC, IGN etc?

Speed Sensor from ECU
12V to battery from ignition
I think there are two Ignition wires, if so the colors of each of them
The ACC wire
and also the wire ...

All done now was simple as, just found the wires that DeeCee named for me and it worked sweet, just cant find which are the wires that go to the door woofers and the two behind the panels by the back seats, as those are the ones im really after
