cheers, the filter (big K&N) is quite dirty but only from the oil coming out of compressor (so will clean this), will check drain but its a straight down dash -12 line so shouldnt be a problem there, the breather is going into a catch can from both covers no more pvc valve as aftermarket intake, i ...

so my supras turbo has started using lots of oil after track day and hard driving under boost, opened up intake/pod and as suspected full of oil residue from the compressor housing, it doesnt blow smoke when running/boosting so presuming rear housing seals are ok.

since using the copper plated nuts ive never had any exhaust/turbo anything ive bolted together come loose again. def recommend using them!

regarding price tune is usualy around $1000 if no wiring or anything like that needs to be messed with, i remember they did all sorts of test on my setup before just strapping it onto the dyno, cooling system pressure tests and intercooler piping tests all of that stuff, if i remember correctly my ...

i took my supra to hitech motorsport in drury, they did a fantastic job not only with tune but with wiring and all sorts of other things!

they say that catalyc converter gets damaged from it but thats only an emission part so wouldnt worry about that, apart from that im not too sure if it damages anything.

yea ive been looking but other than mixing myself with ethanol level testers etc (which im not too keen on and cant be bothered) only option is e85 from pukekohe but that means upgrading injectors.lines.pumps, and that isnt really worth it where e30 will still make a decent power increase over 98 ...

i read a little while ago that 'alcotane' supplies or used to supply e30 and e85 mixes in 20l or 200l drums, but the website doesnt work and just wondering if there any other reliable sources out there? pat

never a wrong time i reckon, even spending 3/4 on interest is better than 100% on rent throwing it down the landlords throat. the higher interest rates will only mean slightly higher repayments.
