haha after the panic of trying to find where the turbo timer ended up so i could switch it off i was a little annoyed, could you tell?

blue one has its little upside down incident and got replaced by the red one, so its possible those dates are right

RS13 - the funny thing about the black AE86 is that was my old car. i rolled at the 1st chch drift day and my old car at the 2nd

sounds like you've got the reasons not by buy one covered so if you can handle those things then they're probably a good option

later model turbo 660 sounds like the only option to me
any other mod will give you about 0.3 hp extra?

or the logical answer, trade it on a later model.
Hollands Suzuki have/had a few Celerio's as loaners, they're quite cool for a horrible little car. 1000cc turbo

in my experience (as the guy who does the most noise testing at Ruapuna) the bolt thing won't do shit. Nowhere near enough to gain 2+ db

like atmosports said the conditions of the day can change things a few db so really you need to drop 5db to make sure you're safe. plus it probably sounds ...

have sent someone down to BNT with the sample and said its either AE82 or AE86, so hopefully they can get it right

part of the reason for asking is i need a thermostat for it and figured they must be different, maybe not
and i just want it to be a genuine rwd motor, more bragging rights?

i hadn't considered the possibility of it being a bigport but maybe i should ...

you would think i'd be able to find the answer to this myself but i'm sick of every search result being how to convert a fwd motor to rwd...

I've obtained a KP60 race/rally car with what seems like a complete AE86 running gear, just trying to find out if i have an original AE86 motor or a fwd ...

haha nothing wrong with cable ties
they're not the standard caliper so i guess the factory mount doesn't work, also has a wilwood pedal and proportioning system so maybe something different relating to that

just signed up to club k so will do some investigating
not sure exactly when i'll get the car yet so will be able check it out then, seller doesn't know much about it so who knows what surprises are in store
