have you got one? or planing to get one?

I'm planning to get a JZX110 or a CG10 with the 1JZ-FSE in it. I am not sure about the reliability and maintenance of the system. I was told older D4 4-cyl engines have problem with carbon buildup and that the latter ones, including the 1JZ-FSE don't. I ...

Thanks. It's a new product for the unpopular wagon but I think it's DIY time.

Looking at a '92 Aristo. Great looking car and all but its got a fault with the hand brake dash light, some times it stays on. What could it be and how hard to fix?

I think he's talking about the "hand brake dash light." If that is the case, it could be because of a faulty sensor usually ...

Nickel alloy vs recommended platinum spark plugs

I just found out that after 10s of thousands of ks that I was running nickel alloy NGK spark plugs (BKR6E-11) on my 5SFE. According to the service manual, the minimum recommended spark plug type is platinum (BKR6EP-11 or equivalent). Even auto parts stores told me I should be running the platinum ...

With that budget, I would stay with the Subarus. If I am going to get a Toyota, I would get a JZX... We have 2 in the family and they're born sleepers. The JZX101's ASC works well making you feel safe on every corner.

I kind of like how it looks. Toyota needs some sort of overstatement right now and I think this version is portraying that.

I am kind of curious about what is needed aside from the custom fabrication/conversion kit and the engine management. What do you guys think are the hidden costs to doing such?
