Mine isnt exactly a piece but it definitly isnt the best looker either.

Picked up an Ae82 Fx-Gt. Im goin for the 'coke can on wheels' approach and lightening the heck out of it... its going to be a club car at this stage, so will be requiring seats, harnesses and cage. Also just finshed running in my rebuilt 20v i dropped in

will put a better pic up of the exterior when i get home...

My car is a 95bzg levin

I haven't researched it throughly yet, But the plans will be to put in lsd and 6spd from a bz-r, and then build up a silvertop/blacktop engine and turbo charge it, just something lowkey sleeper styles, undecided on top or front mount intercooler at present.
Also considering grafting a gti-r bonnet scoop once i have investigated with photo shop whether it will look to shite ahaha.

Mine isn't exactly a Toyota... but it's a project all the same ;)

As the trend goes it's undergoing a weight loss program as it's intended for track (grip!) use eventually and isn't exactly a light wee thing. Currently fitting a t25G to get the thing going again...

Well I'll let you guys decided which category my two fall in to

First project is the '70 MK1 V6 Capri, complete re-build from the ground up, once completed and back on the road it may be elevated to my daily drive but i'm not sure about that at this stage.
Mods are faily minimal, vented, slotted & cross-drilled DBA font rotors, Celica 5spd box, re-built front struts including neww springs & shocks. Interior will get new reclineables & audio. Along' with a few others here and ther that we think of as we go.

Capri Pics

Project two is the KE25, at the mo its just putting it all back together after the previous owner snapped a CAM belt, the head had some more weight reduction in the last week and is now back on, all bolted up and running a wee-bit rough, next on the list is for it to be sent in and tuned on a dyno so we are getting every last bit out of her.

KE25 Pics

P.S Will upload some additional pics for both folders when i get home tonight

These are my projects:

1997 Toyota Trueno BZR - Track/Tarmac Hillclimbs etc. Aftermarket filter, cold airbox, plugs, leads and mandrel bent cat-back exhaust system.

Image

1982 KP60 Toyota Starlet - For every other event, motorkana's, autocross's etc. Just replaced the 1000cc 2K standard engine with a worked 1300cc 4K. Goes alot harder now. Have overhaulled the brakes, gutted the interior, fitted new seats, new steering wheel and a few more go fasts parts.

well my new project is an AW11 MR2.

its a n/a version thats had aw11 s/c gear fitted to an ae92 bigport 4age. so is running 9.4:1 instead of 8.0:1 compression. also running the stock n/a gearbox with its closer ratios, seems to be holding up fine!

future plans:
TRD shocks and springs.
TRD or similar suspension bushes.
water to air intercooler
better intake

then after a while im thinking 20v with sc14

I have a 1990 toyota SW20. G spec yo! :D

Image

It was looking a bit rangy when I got it, so I did a DIY panel and paint.
Took about 5 months, but its looking good. :D

Next on the menu is a new engine. I am rebuilding a redtop 3sge engine (200hp VVTI NA goodness!) to put in it. (Which Im sure Mr Revhead and Adamal are sick of hearing about by now. :P)
The downside is that it is going to cost a fortune to do, and it will still be slower than a 3sgte that I could get for the same price. It is because it is a rather uncommon engine (less than 1000 made apparently) and I have to source the parts I need from Japan.

I am not overly bothered by this however. Since I live 5 mins from work, I clock up most of my ks driving to bethels and back to go surfing. These roads are very tight and windy, I dont even reach the full potential of the cars engine as it is. So keeping it light and NA is the way to go IMO. Its not going to beat Al down the strip, but I might be able to give him a run for his money on the twisties. :)

ah well here is my shitbox for the time being

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b135/ ... a/car1.jpg

not much dne to it apart from the paint, re-trimmed doors, sounds, exhaust, steering wheel. Should be getting a white dash, glove box, and basically everything up front done in white.

I like the originality ;) Would actually be a very good combo, give you what no other 20V driver, turbo or not, has. Something down low :P

Nahh, course not mate!! (Warwick, I'm lying to make him feel better)
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Since I don't have nearly enough cash to modify my daily driver I'm instead building this:

Image

Since that picture it's been fitted with a passenger seat from a P11 Primera, got the monster 5HP Briggs and Stratton horizontal shaft mounted, started sorting the Holden HQ hubs to axle relationship and working on the pedal linkage to the motor.
