What do you reckon its worth?

Probably going to sell the KP60 when its all certified etc. No idea what to expect money-wise for it though. Goes better than I thought it would to be honest.

Pics and stuff here: viewtopic.php?t=50484

1980 KP60 Starlet, matt black

Interior is all stripped out (though I have it all here, black carpet, seats, belts, door trims etc)

Wheels
13x6 tridents including spare mag

Tyres
Directional Toyo 185/60/13s on rear, Yokos up front I think (same size)

Engine
5K
lightened rods (read: 4K ones)
Standard head, 1.5mm taken off, valve surfaced etc etc
Twin carbs
Solid lifters
T25 turbo from CA18-DET
VR4 intercooler
BOV from DrivenPerformance
Electronic Distributor
2 inch exhaust
Electric cooling fan

Fuel
Lift pump: aftermarket EFI pump
Main pump: BFMR external pump
Malpassi fuel pressure regulator
1L (ish) surge tank with return to fuel tank

K50 and standard diff for now. Seem to be taking it alright.
Boost gauge, fuel pressure gauge both in vehicle and under bonnet
Rev counter with adjustable rev limiter and shift light
Switch also setup to put onto the clutch pedal for flat shifting which drops rev limiter by 2/3rd when engaged, not used yet

Still to be done is a cert and new WoF/reg. Rear brakes have just been redone standard. Front brakes likely to be fresh rotors and a decent set of pads. Stops quite well now. Car weighs in at 700kgs.

Any ideas?

I'd say $2500 - $3500 depending on condition, but it looks pretty tidy. I'm sure you'd get $4000 if you tried.

Pics look better than it is I'm sure. Got at least 100hp at the wheels I found out tonight, pity its so light in the rear and wouldn't keep traction. And there were no fat bastards around to chuck in the back

You seem like nice guy, I do you best price. Tirty Foouuuur Fifty.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Well if anyone wants it, it'll probably be on trademe in the next week or so. Certifier guy probably coming for a check around later in the week. So let me know if you would like it :) Running 19psi at the top end of 4th now. At least 100hp atw on 12 psi so I'd imagine lots more now :D

Maybe I just want to get rid of it so I can afford to do up the KE36, or so I can made a bigger better 5K turbo for one of the KE20s ;)

Either way, the Starlet is excess to my requirements. Very fun, though I think I'd like to keep my licence so I need to sell it.
