probably cheaper and alot easier just to buy one with a V8 already in it

Exactly what I thought.

Definitely one to put in the "why bother" basket. Speaking of V8's, mechanic across the road is fanging a Porker 928 along the street, open exhausts stz. Sounds so hot.

Im pretty sure i saw that about 5-6 months ago...

Would be so much fun though, pull up somewhere and they think you're just some wanker who can't afford chromes yet, and then you blow them away :P

And thats' a LOT of kms.. everything other than the engine will be worn out anyway, so once you've replaced everything that needs replacing, AND wired up the engine, you'd be looking at the purchase price again anyway. :roll:

Still a big pig. and a stock 89 SL500 still has more claimed power than a lexus (322hp)

total waste of time

only way i could possibly see it being worth buying would if it it had a R154.
