That'll be the play called suspension working correctly,

Facepalm
If you'd taken any notice of how those idiots at vtnz test the suspension then you'd know that this is one of the first useful posts in the thread

Just go back to the VTNZ, say you have been to your mechanic and he has fixed it.
If they come in and say there is still play, ask to be shown what they have an issue with.
Stop being a bitch about such a minor thing, making a big deal about it on internet forums.
I would've either done the above, or I would've gone straight to another VTNZ and see if they have the same issue. Not gotten in a huff, driven home and shaken the wheel, convinced that there is nothing wrong and post about it on the internet.
Waa waa NZer's are so dumb. It's your posts that are annoying bud.
I would be taking the attitude of "Hey, what's actually the issue, can you show me" you seem to think they are making the issue up?
If it's one thing more annoying than ignorance, it's arogance. You're a classic example of this.
FST4RD wrote:I had an issue with vtnz with my mini. They put it on rollers to check the brakes, front disc brakes fine, rear drums the guy said weren't powerful enough. Didn't know what he was talking about since minis only run about 5-10% to the rear brakes, rest to the front. Explained this to him, he wouldn't have a bar of it and failed the car. Next day took it to a mechanic that knew about minis and he passed straight away.
Wasted my time and money at a place I thought knew what they were doing.
