I remember driving down to hammy to pick up those parts in my blue AE85, and I saw a pretty damn worked AE86, with dry sump setup already, I think it could've been you, this is back in 2002.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

With 280kw, I'd tend to agree
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

Also if you're shooting for 1600cc class results, a 1600cc turbo means you end up rated as a 2720cc car.

Yes, and no.

If you're running in sealed hillclimbs etc as NZAE86 does (a lot!), he will be wanting to stay in the 0-1600cc class. Turbo puts you out of that class, and into the "owned be Evo's" class, which is not so much fun to play in.

Very true Leon, this is the reason my car is still N/A and of course 4age's sounds amazing at 8000plus. 8)

Also, even on a track a turbo 4age will not always be quicker.

Oh and nice pics NZAE86, are you staying with the carbs to keep it 'factory'!?
