and 3.9 when calculated based on a Wankel cycle (it is neither a 2 stroke nor a 4 stroke)

Not so impressive now?

rotary engine is not 1.3l, sorry but its not 4 stroke cycle.

Originally german design, german try and didnt work. So they give to japanese and say 'good luck'.

I dislike the noise, sounds like an untuned weed killer. And need to use as much oil and petrol. So maybe they are responsible for global warming? Ban the wankel to save the whales?

They should have buy alfa, cause like wankel they will break down and leave you on side of road. If break down in alfa people understand and help, but in wakel they laugh at you and throw fruit at you, cause you didnt buy real car....

i dont own company, i work as normal guy. So i dont get much money. Pay in nz low, but better then home.

Maybe make better to drive? I have idea. Go find 4 hot girls to car pool with, problem solved. Be sneeky and turn heater up so they take off clothes. That way make car better.

Or say due to wof testing you must inspect all airbags for correct operation and check the rack to ensure proper operation. Offer an oil change and fiter and ask to plug dignioustic machine in to read codes...

And the fact they build cars to be thrown away after 5 years, I'm sure the Japanese guy that designed it for the domestic market never imaged it would be worked on in someones garage 20 years later in another country.

..and safety. First time a changed a light build on my car it took two hours, had to remove the front bumper due to its safety before function design, TBH I would rather a 5 star safety rated vehicle than one that is easy to work on.

Working on my race car can have its moments being a newer car but all in all its very easy to do the basics when you have the tools and experience, a workshop manual helps too

rotary engines are cool in their own way, a bit niche, obviously fairly different.

but if they were truly the bees knees they would have replaced piston engines long ago, i think even the most ardent rotor fan knows the reasons why they havent.

They cant afford the oil bills? 15w/40 is not cheap and when they use 3L per km

Find me another 1.3L that can use that much fuel.
The 1.3L arguement is a crock of shit when you are comparing engines that work on a completely different basis. A rotary for example will have chamber volume of 1.3L at all times yet a piston engine only ever has 1/2 its swept area available as the balance sits outside the combustion process below the pistons.
