So why did they charge you for extending the wiring loom then???

So far it's hasn't been too bad to put the motor and every thing in, definitly not $3k worth. But then I don't own a garage

If you use an AE86 loom, they fit right in nor worries and you dont have to lengthen them.
If you use a FWD loom they are a PITA as they are a bit short and to get the ecu inside the car you need to chop it in 1/2 and add about 1/2 metre or so.
And as this was a MR2 donor car, they have even shorter loom agian,
so the may have even had to lengthen it to get it to sit on the inner guard.?

Don't know about the diff, but the K50 will last fine if you don't abuse it. Don't slam it into gears and don't drop the clutch on it and it'll keep you going till you can get a T50 or better... My current K50 now has 82.4rwkW (about 2000kms including 40km at the track, about 7500kms before that on a standard bluetop) going through it... and it hasn't shown any signs of dying.andyae85 wrote:they did do a great job though, and i cant beleive the difference from the 4age to the 3aits awesome, dont no how long my diff and k50 gonna last, the box is already making some weird noises, problem is i dont have enough money to upgrade just yet
