1:25 is a pretty sweet time for someone who doesn't know the track though.

Whats done to the charade?

LOTS!
Engine, suspension, tyres, brakes, the lot. She is putting out twice the factory power now (186HP at the front wheels).

:o that much HP and no weight, should be capable of 22's or possibly even less after some practice.

Ive not weighted her but my guess is 800kg without driver. I was not running full boost either (20psi) - only 15-16psi on the day so power would have been down on that dyno (ego) figure :-)

Thats a good number for a turboed 1000cc car do you race it in a series I feel it would be a very competitive car if put in the right class.

No i dont - i want to though - but to be honest ive only just finished building it (if one is every really finished building a project car!) - that was the first outting on the ST185 brakes - they seemed to handle the heat far better than the factory ones did LOL. I would like to enter a series - im sure it would improve my track skills no end!

How did you find Manfeild?????

I have only been to Manfeild and Taupo old and new and found Manfeild alot harder on brakes than Taupo. But I also found that Taupo was really hard on tyres especially the rears.Personally I prefer Manfeild but I found the Taupo infield a real test for a big car like mine but I was a bit disappointed with the supposed big speeds I was expecting which did'nt eventuate ie 250 down the chute for me it was 215 but I heard other cars were doing supposedly 230 plus. Then I'm overtaking them down the same straight I guess there speedo's read a little different to mine.lol.

Personally i prefer taupo. More corners the better as far as im concerned LOL - as larger displacement cars take me on the straights. I was within 1 second most of the time with chelles in her 1600 mivec at manfield, whereas i feel more compeitive at taupo - then again i know the track better there :-)

In the end of the day any day on any track is a good day LOL. I think agree with you though about manfield being easier on tyres.
