Would you pick a 3k over a 4a?

I wouldn't compare your experience with older 3sge's or even 3sgtes, and assume a beams is the same.

Put a beams in, spend $3k on it, $2k of which is a link, easy 200hp at the wheels.

How much money would it take to get a 4age to 200whp?

^^This, after owning both I'd find it very very hard to go back to a 4age even though I loved it at the time. In the heavy assed Altezza its a noticable pull diffirence.
210hp out of the box for 1k is a good way to spend $$$ and staying non turbo. Go for oversteer, far far more fun otherwise buy a Honda.

Get the starlet shell and stick the beams in it.

Mate of mine here is selling a couple of 240Z shells and parts, enough to build one good one. I'd do it in a heartbeat if I had the room!

One of my favourite cars... ever.
If I was daring to risk a quick removal of my testicles by my wife I'd have a crack at one.... but alas, I ironically, don't have the balls.

Heh, I understand completely! They're hot cars, there are enough bits there to make a matching numbers, original car.. hmm. If he still has them when I buy a house they're mine! lol.

2 cars, one is complete, was running when I bought it but currently won't start. It's automatic with original number engine (a rare thing!) and nice original metallic blue paint under the carpets but horrible burgundy paint outside. Rust in the sills and floors. $5000 and I'll chuck in a few spares...

Is that cheap? He has been trying to sell it to me for a couple of years now but I haven't had the room. However, now that we mentioned it on FB it looks like people are lining up to buy it!

I think he has a couple of new dogleg panels to go with it, otherwise what can't be taken off the other shell you can still buy for these cars.

Ah yes, a 240Z is worth pretty good coin. Nice ones can go for $15k+
If I had $5k I'd grab it for sure

Yeah? I've got the coin, but there are other cars I'd own before a 240z. I'd only buy it to sell it on, as I reaaaally don't have anywhere to put it! Looks like my auntie's partner is going to buy it as a project so hopefully it'll stay in our family.
