They are just plain sex. Leave body as standard please!

So how much do you have to pay for one these days? New import? Need engine rebuild at all?

agreed, body wise it will be staying as is, bar the rear spoiler being removed and probably dropping it down a bit more - HKS adjustables FTW!!!

And i have already taken the guesswork about whether or not it needs a rebuild - it does. Bought it for that reason. Will either chuck another block in, or more likely rebuild that one. It only cost me $10k, and a going series 7 is around the $15k-$18k so its good value. It is a fresh import, but its all complied and even has a LVVC for the suspension.

I should get it tuesday, its coming up from welly

So rebuild is roughly $5k? That is good value! Does that sort of thing come up very often at this price? Did this sneak in before the import changes or are they not effected?

I WANT...

Nah, will be a lot less than that. Me and a mate will do the rebuild ourselves. From what it sounds like the internals should be fine, and i can get a complete rebuild kit for $1300. So hopefully the car shouldnt owe me more than $12k all up. At worst case i can get a brand new crate long block from mazda for $4000.

Get one!!!!

I didn't know you could get crate blocks? Is that normal price or hook up?

Im tempted eh. But not for a while so hopefully deals like that are still around if the import laws stop that sort of thing coming in.

I wouldn't want a ported engine or anything, just a healthy 350hp if thats do-able with the standard turbo crate engine?

Yep that sort of power is a piece of piss on a standard engine. SIKBUZ is making close to that on stock turbos and a power fc and only 10psi. Thats my goal power as well, and im just going to be using a series 8 computer

That is a hook up price, but as always its who you know, not what you know.
