Whats the story getting a car with a bent/cracked chassis back onto the road?

what needs to be done?
certs?
rough costs?

bugger, i thought to myself, bugger doing the conversion, just turn the levin into the race car
(even tho it would need new boot, bonnet, front and rear bumpers, headlights, tail lights and front gaurds)
so yeah i guess it wont be worth it :(

I've seen that car somewhere before. I recognise the engine bay/ filter placement/ and cover over the quad throttles.
Don't know quite where though. :?

that will cost to fix.
your lalmost ooking at a complete rebuild from the fire wall forward by the looks of that.....


you can make $$ from the parts... depends what you paid for it!

whats it like on the l/h side? it may just need a nosecut and r/h guard assy, but itll stil cost a few grand...

you could wreck it
or build it into a race car... but id say your looking at 10k to repair and make race ready...... 10k can buy a damn good track car.....

if it was me, and i could get it for a coupla k id wreck it....

i want the motor box ecu etc for my racecar, but im not sure if id get anything selling the rest of the parts - it is pretty bunged up on the outside, and how many people want interior stuff?!

things that are good that i wont need:
1 rear lamp, all the glass, rear brakes, seats, dash, carpet, a few panels, superstrut suspension, lowering springs (some light blue ones, dunno what brand), air con bits, door cards, electric window stuff, roof lining, k brace, factory speakers, maybe a few other bits n pieces.

do ya rekon the bent, stripped chassis would sell at all?
i dont even know what prices i should sell the bits for.
Warwick, you have a bit of the inside knowledge, if you wouldnt mind could you email me some rough guesses if you get time please?

Yeah i think dobis are terquoise, bluey green, whiteline are a simillar colour too, could be either?
