VR4 4g63 reconditioning prices?

i have a 1988 galant vr4 ( 4g63) just clocked over 2 20 000 k's
and was just woundering if anyone would know aproximetly how much it would cost to recondition the motor?

and if you can recomend any places etc?

Hope you've asked this on MMC, there will definately have been one or two guys who've had it done

Off the top of my head, parts alone are around $1100 retail for bearings, gaskets, rings etc etc. Depending on much machine work needs to be done is going to really effect the total cost...a simple hone is gonna be much cheaper than having to bore it 20 thou over.
Also depends if its just gonna be a standard rebuild or if you're gonna take the opportunity to throw in some fun bits.
