I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

Video shots

Postby beeker » Sun Nov 19, 2006 8:07 am

This is a shot from the 2nd to last WRC stage at Mystery Creek Hamilton yesterday. Its a lower ranked Subee, but wait... whats that catching it like a bat out of hell.... Its a Peugot with no front window !! Obviously a roll over back on its wheels. Must be windy in there on the long 200kph+++ straight.

that subaru is latvala who passed the pug (solberg) who lost 12 mins when he rolled. he then pulled over to let latvala through when the subaru caught him in the stage

I'm ambivalent - I'd love to be down there watching the cars but I know I'd be frustrated about not getting to as many stages as I want to etc etc. Besides which I've been busy working all weekend (both real work and the rally car).

I have however been using http://mfile.akamai.com/20546/live/refl ... bkup=34144 to keep an eye on the event (radio commentary/interviews and helecopter footage of the stages) - great since I don't have Sky for their coverage. I also watched the Mystery Creek SS on Friday and Saturday on Sky (dinner with Grans FTW! ) and thought it was an awesome course!
We know that four-wheel drive doesn't work in a racing car, and I proved to myself that it doesn't work very well for rallycross. I'm absolutely convinced that it has no future in rallying, either, even if the regulations allowed it. - Roger Clark (rallying legend), circa 1976
