I'm ambivalent - I'd love to be down there watching the cars but I know I'd be frustrated about not getting to as many stages as I want to etc etc. Besides which I've been busy working all weekend (both real work and the rally car).
I have however been using
http://mfile.akamai.com/20546/live/refl ... bkup=34144 to keep an eye on the event (radio commentary/interviews and helecopter footage of the stages) - great since I don't have Sky for their coverage. I also watched the Mystery Creek SS on Friday and Saturday on Sky (dinner with Grans FTW!
) and thought it was an awesome course!
We know that four-wheel drive doesn't work in a racing car, and I proved to myself that it doesn't work very well for rallycross. I'm absolutely convinced that it has no future in rallying, either, even if the regulations allowed it. - Roger Clark (rallying legend), circa 1976
