just a hollow plastic/brass tank, that joins the radiator tubes to the bottom tank. they hollow so water can flow in and out of the tubes in radiator.

what the top hose joins on to..

easy! dont get a new tank.. just take it to a radiator specialist, and get them to weld it back on!

If its a plastic you cant weld it and you need a new tank $200+ or get a s/h radiator.
