Difference between AW11?

Postby FST4RD » Fri Feb 11, 2005 9:37 am

Was there much difference between the supercharged and non super charged models?? Apart from the obvious, Ie motor, ecu, loom?? And also is it as easy as bolting the 4AGZE motor, loom and ecu into a non supercharged one??

Between the earlier aw's yes, they only had the C-50 gearbox aswell as a "tail happy" suspension setup, whereas the s/c models suspension had alot less oversteer because of the extra torque, Targa Tops, the C-52 gearbox, upgraded brakes, and the usual interior changes.

There are also differences in where the subframes bolt on. It can be done but is a bit of mucking around.

I've decided that the silvertop 20v is going to be a go'er i think, i know of a black top head and quad throttles coming up for sale in the near future... might be interesting
