I thought the smoke was black because it uses heaaaaps of fuel, but got it tested yesterday to see if the afm could be adjusted for better economy.
The mechanic said he couldnt get a reading for fuel from the exhaust becuase its blowing blue smoke (oil).
I've just done another compression test and it has consistent 165psi each cylinder (with engine at operating temp). I also took off the pipe from I/C to Intake and there doesnt seem to be any sign of oil inside the pipe. When i had the turbo off a while ago it did have a little shaft play (up/down but didnt check back/forwards).
Im guessing turbo seals but it has also been suggested the valve stem seals could be buggered...
What else should i be checking to find where/how the oil is getting into the combustion cycle?
Thanks
