Ute is rn85 double cab, I currently have 2" blocks but want to go another 1-2" lower so am considering scraping the blocks and getting the springs reset 3-4 " or keeping the blocks and reseting 1-2" which would be the better option? keeping the blocks I can return it to a slightly higher position if I ever need to. How much is reseting and where can I get it done in TGA or BOP area? do I take the leaf springs out for them or will they do it? How do you safely take leaf springs out?
I have heard that rear corolla bumpstops will go into my hilux as a shorter replacement. Guessing these are to be out of a ke70 ke30 ??
If any body has one and has a dig cam could a see a pic of them and some rough measurements? as i know no one with one to have a look. Also if you can sell me some that would be great.
I know I could just cut them but its pretty hard to get a nice cut, want it looking like a nice tidy job.
Am I going to need shorter shocks all round or just for the fronts? The rears still seem to have heaps of travel with the blocks, maybe just get stiffer ones so it is harder to compress to get to the bumpstops?
I think I can use HQ front shocks in the front for a shorter replacement but am told the lower part needs to be modified? anybody know what and how hard it is?
