Fit the seal to the glass and sit it in place on the hatch with the ends of the string hanging into the inside of the hatch. Pull one end of the cord downwards and it should pull the inside lip of the seal through to the inside of the hatch. Work your way round - pulling the cord down. Couple of minutes and you're done.
