caldina clutch?

yeh im sure they will be slacking off as well,

so i need a new clutch but im thinking i may as well get a heavy duty one if im gunna have to fork out 500 odd to get it installed.. can anyone recommend me a heavy duty clutch kit to get? so far i have been looking at the 'SPEC stage 2/3 clutch kits' on driven performance can anyone tell me anything about these?

I'd honestly like to see 1 guy do a Caldina/GT4/4wd corolla clutch with only 8 hours of labour. If the guys knows them inside out then it'd POSSIBLY be do-able, otherwise dreaming.

You do realise you have to drop the entire engine and gearbox out the bottom, which means removing both engine mounting beams, splitting them apart then putting it all back together? If your car hasn't had a cambelt & water pump done, i'd reccomend doing them while the engine is out.

They might have a few people on the job im not sure but they said they have done some before, cambelts been done so you would expect the waterpump to have been done

assumption is the mother of all fcukups
do it at the same time if its anywhere near doing again
a cambelt+tensioners+water pump etc is cheap in comparison to labour of pulling the motor out!

i will ask them to check they waterpump as well, dont you have to take the belt of anyway too check / replace this?
