iv come across that in many many places asweel.

which means those ones n the KP above are not the best....


wasnt there another thread on here recently with info on the radius needed etc?

47mm wide at throttle body side and length is about 50mm i think

Just been speaking to my partners dad who races in the muscle car seies and he said the same thing about the air coming from behind the trumpet and around the side.
interesting what some people know when you ask haha, he saw me looking at this thread .....

that would also explain why 3 and 4 inlet trumpets in the 3S-GT are quite close to the inside of the manifold, to allow more room behind....

simple test, sick a bellmouth on the end of a vacuume cleaner. see where the air comes from.

interesting post here, look at the images about half way down, about flow into tubes:

if the air does come from behind. it isnt going to be of much use to you. unless you have a proper full round edged bellmouths,like in frost's post.
so your average bellmouth, should be better with a flat plate behind them. if thats the case

the kp's setup is all about helmholtz, the downfalls it has are outweighed.
